Cerakote is a ceramic-based thermoset composite coating that is applied to the surface of firearms, knives, and specialty products like tumblers, and sport parts. It provides a protective finish and can be subjected to high temperatures without the risk of being melting off. Cerakote can be applied to a lot of surfaces and creates a high strength coating. To make your personal project match your needs, Cerakotes comes in a wide array of colors. If you own a gun that has been abused and the coating is coming off, inherited a gun that was stored improperly and starting to rust, or a gun that you just want to change how it looks. Cerakote can be applied to metal, wood, plastics, and polymers.
